Procedure
of accrediting journalists by the Press Centre of the
5th International Exhibition of Military Equipment,
Technologies and Land Forces Armament
"VTTV-Omsk"

7 - 11 June 2005
The City of Omsk

1. Right to be accredited by the Press Centre can be used by Russian and foreign mass media editors officially registered.

2. The applications for mass media accreditation should be sent to the Press Centre.

3. The accreditation is temporary (for the period of the exhibition).

4. A ground for journalist accreditation by the Press Centre is an application as indicated in the Addendum.

5. Grounds for rejection to accept the application for journalist accreditation are:

  • discrepancy of the application to the Addendum's requirements;
  • non-observance of the deadline of journalist accreditation;
  • journalist's non-observance of the Russian Law on Mass Media.

6. In case of accreditation rejection the mass media editors will receive a grounded written notification.

7. The accredited journalist will receive an accreditation card.

8. The accreditation card is to be presented at the entrance to the exhibition area. It provides to the journalist an access to any exhibition event that are not closed ones.

9. When lost the accreditation card can be renewed after applying to the Press Centre.

10. The accredited journalists have the following rights:

  • to have access to the exhibition events presenting the accreditation card;
  • to participate in all the events excluding the closed ones;
  • to make audio and video recordings;
  • to receive information materials dealing with the exhibition, excluding confidential information, information with limited access or information containing state secrets.

11. The accreditation does not guarantee to the accredited journalists an absolute right to be present directly at the events during visits of VIP officials.

12. In case of small size of events' area, the Press Centre provides possibilities for recording to the accredited journalists.

13. Press centre officers in charge of the event's information are obliged to inform the accredited journalists on the event's holding.

14. The journalist accreditation can be deprived in the following cases:

  • information dissemination by a journalist or editors, when the information do not comply with reality or when the information distorts the reality;
  • journalist's interference into procedure of holding the exhibition's events.
